What A Drill Camp Has To Do

A drill camp is a logistics problem disguised as a building. An exploration crew has to sleep, eat, wash, recover and run the program within walking distance of the rig, on ground that had nothing on it a fortnight ago. TA Structures delivers that as one package – living quarters, commercial kitchen and dining hall, sanitation, recreation, first aid, offices and storage – engineered for rapid deployment so drilling starts on schedule. Configurations run from two boxes to six, which is the range most exploration programs sit inside.

Built To Follow The Drills

Exploration rarely stays on one target. Skid-mounted configurations reposition as the program advances across the claim, so the camp is an asset that moves with the work instead of a cost written off at the last hole. Private or semi-private sleeping quarters in insulated modular units hold temperature in extreme climates, a commercial kitchen serves hot meals daily, and washrooms and showers run hot water with proper drainage backed by water treatment. First aid stations, fire suppression, muster points and evacuation planning are part of the build.
