Washington construction, forestry and public-works projects can take site offices, crew accommodation and washroom facilities as finished modules, shipped south from our Sicamous, BC plant. Portable buildings for Washington State arrive with interiors complete, which matters most where a project is working to a season. Units run 48 to 60 feet by 12 or 14 feet wide, in wood-frame modular construction with metal siding, and can be set on skids or foundations depending on how long the site will run.
Coastal damp on one side of the Cascades and dry heat on the other. Buildings are engineered for the applicable jurisdiction, climate and site conditions, with sealed envelopes and insulation packages specified to the region. R20 walls and R40 roofs are the baseline, and HVAC is sized for the ambient conditions a building will work in. Where a unit will move between the two sides of the state, the specification is written for the harder of the two.
Nine building types come off one line in Sicamous — mine drys, drill camps, Texas camps, wellsite trailers, portable offices, classrooms, washrooms, camp kitchens and custom fabrication — with structural, welding, cabinetry and interior finishing teams all in house. Every building crosses the border with its paperwork done: CSA A277 factory certification, ISO 9001 quality management, and US engineer stamps arranged where Washington requires them. TA Structures can coordinate transport, craning and on-site installation, working with local contractors where that suits the project better.
