Modular Structures for Infrastructure

Modular Buildings That Support The Project

Site offices, washroom facilities, crew accommodation and storage, delivered to where the project actually is rather than where the nearest town happens to be. Infrastructure work moves along a route or occupies a site for years at a stretch, and the support buildings have to suit whichever it is. Skid-mounted configurations relocate as a corridor advances; foundation-set buildings stay put for a multi-year program. Both come off the same line and carry the same envelope and certification.

Built For Multi-Year Infrastructure Programs

Multi-year infrastructure programs need buildings that last the term rather than buildings that were only ever meant to bridge a season. Wood-frame modular construction with metal siding, 2×6 walls at R20 and R40 roofs hold up across it, and properly designed and maintained modular buildings are comparable in durability to site-built structures. Modules are engineered to withstand transport and lifting, which is part of why the structural design is robust once the building is in place.

Certified, Documented And Custom Where It Needs To Be

CSA A277, Alberta Part 10, BCCSA COR, ISO-9001:2008 and WCB documentation is supplied with every unit before it ships. Where an infrastructure project needs something that exists in no catalogue, the shop is set up for it: structural, welding and fabrication teams in house and a CWB-certified weld shop. Recent custom work includes the RCMSAR floating rescue station in Sicamous, the only inland freshwater rescue station in British Columbia, built on pontoons with solar and fish-sensitive decking.
