How Modular Classrooms Are Strengthening Community at King’s Christian School: A TA Structures Milestone in Salmon Arm, BC
Thursday, November 19th, marked an inspiring milestone for King’s Christian School (KCS) and the wider Salmon Arm community. A brand-new four-box modular classroom built to support the school’s growing learning needs – was delivered and installed by TA Structures.
But this day was about more than construction or delivery. It was a celebration of community, family, and local partnership.
For our CEO and Owner, Greg Kyllo, the moment was especially meaningful. His 6-year-old grandson Harvey Hansma stood by his side, eyes wide as cranes lifted each prefabricated classroom unit into place. Watching Harvey experience the excitement of big machinery, while seeing his grandfather’s work in action, created a memory that beautifully captured what this project represents:
Community-built spaces. Family roots. Local impact.
In Salmon Arm, these connections matter and they are at the heart of everything we do.
The new modular classroom building is thoughtfully designed to support student learning, curiosity, and collaboration. It reflects KCS’s dedication to creating a school environment where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
The added space provides additional learning space for grade 6/7 students.

Independent Schools Shape Learners for Life
Independent and faith-based schools like KCS provide Christ-centred education that nurtures the whole child. At KCS Salmon Arm, their mission is Education for Life—equipping students from Preschool to Grade 12 to grow as lifelong learners who love God, pursue truth, and serve others.
