Spotlight on Trades at TA Structures / Twin Anchors Mfg.
On Friday, October 3, we were proud to welcome School District 83 Trades students from Eagle River Secondary, Salmon Arm Secondary, Jackson Secondary, A.L. Fortune Secondary, and Pleasant Valley Secondary!
Students rotated through five hands-on stations — Electrical, Welding, Plumbing & Pipefitting, Construction, and Cabinetry — gaining real-world insight into the trades and asking some fantastic questions along the way.
A huge thank you to our incredible TA team — Tyler D., Clayton, Tyler, Daniel, Ron, Joanne, Tristan, Ryan, Garry, and James — for sharing your expertise and passion at each station.
Thank you as well to the ERS Parents Advisory Committee for providing lunch, to the SD83 trades teachers for making it all possible, and of course, to the students for bringing your talent, curiosity, and energy.
It was a fantastic day of learning and inspiration — the future of trades is bright!
